Automatic/semi-automatic bagging machine quickens the accurate bagging of products to a great extent. These machines can serve better in modern chemical, fertilizer, sugar, cattle feed, oil extraction and many other similar plants.

Suitable models for different products and capacities are available either in mild steel construction or with stainless steel contact parts. Extreme care has been taken to match the machine with products and withstand the varying climatic conditions. Even though 'these machines are custom-made, a short description of four basic models are entered below.

1. VFG Series (Vibratory feed gross weigher)

2. SFG Series (Screw feed gross weigher)

3. BFG Series (Belt feed gross weigher)

4. GFG / GFG (P) Series (Gravity feed gross weigher / Gravity feed gross weigher (Pneumatic))

All these machines with additional arrangements for nett weighing are also available. Height required to accommodate a nett weigher is comparatively greater than that of a gross weigher.

VFG Series

Material Feeding Device: Vibratory feeder connected with eccentric cam and driven by two separate motors for fast and fine feeding.

Intended to Fill: Lumpy to coarse-piece products such as cattle feeds, oilcakes, flakes etc.

Power         :      1.5 HP, 440 V AC, 3 Phase

Capacity     : 100 to 180 sacks per hour of 50 kg each, depending on the bulk density and input. 

SFG Series

Material Feeding device: Worm screw conveyor connected with gear box and driven by two separate motors for fast and fine feeding.

Power Capacity

Intended to fill: Mealy and powdery, sluggish and rap­idly spreading products such as chemicals, wheat flour, cement like powders etc.

Power         : 2.5 HP, 440 V AC, 3 Phase

Capacity     : 100 to 120 sacks per hour of 50 kg each, depending on the bulk density and input.

BFG Series

Material Feedings Device: Belt conveyor connected with gear box and driven by two separate motors for fast and fine feeding.

Intended to fill: Sluggish products such as fodder meals, raw sugar, chips, pellets, fertilizers etc.

Power         :     2.5 HP, 440 V AC, 3 Phase

Capacity     :      120 to 240 sacks   per hour of 50 kg each,   in pneumatically operated

Important:   Maximum accuracy is subject to the following conditions:

1. Uniform in flow of material

2. Free movement of beam scale

3. Lumps-free material

4. Removal of dust and foreign material from ‘V’ bearings and from other sensitive parts by an air blower.

5. Sufficient air pressure, in case of pneumatically operated machines.

6. Proper installation

GFG Series

Material Feeding device: Filling chute with two cut off gates for fast and fine feeding

Intended to fill: Granular and free-flowing products such as grains, granulates, sugar, salt etc.

Power         : Normally no electricity required. In pneumatic system either 230 V AC or 24 V DC is required.

Capacity     : Up to 250 sacks per hour of 50 kg each, in pneumatically operated machines, depending on the bulk density and input.

 

Installation: All the basic models are designed to in­stall in plants by suspending from the structures in such a way that the input point of the machine should come directly under the discharge point of the storage hop­per of the plant. Every care should be taken for the safety while installation of the machine in the plant. On request, supervision for installation by experts shall be provided as per terms and conditions in the quotation.

Operational Feature: All the basic models have two stages of filling such as fast and fine. This is obtained either by changing the speed of the feeder without changing the area of cross section of flow or by chang­ing the volume of flow. Most reliable equal arm beam scales are used to achieve a life long service with re­peated accuracy. The weight box of the machine is to be loaded with dead weight equivalent to the required weight of material to be bagged. Operator has to clamp empty bag on to the spout and press the push button/ raise the starting handle in every cycle of operation on semi-automatic machines. In automatic system, once the switch is put 'ON', weighing & filling operations will go on without any interruption. The operator has to change the bags as per the output.
